Adolph Martin Foerster (1854 – 1927) was an American composer, a music teacher, music historian, and conductor. He wrote in a “Old German School” style, composing numerous suites, overtures, and festival marches for orchestra: a violin concerto, two piano trios; a piano quartet, and pieces for violin.
