Sergio de Luca (fl. 16th c.) is primarily known for the song Non posso disperar which was collected by the Italian composer and music editor, Alessandro Parisotti, in his Arie antiche of 1890. The actual composer of the work is now thought to be Giovanni Battista Bononcini (1670-1747).
