Giovanni Palazzi (c. 17xx – 1849) Italian librettist most likely of Venetian origin. Of his five drammi per musica for the Venetian stage the most interesting are his first two, Armida al campo d’Egitto and La verità in cimento, both of which were set by Vivaldi.
